Drilling it in

One of my favourite parts of ‘This Is It’ and one of the best and lasting memories Michael left us (and something that I would have died to see live) was ‘The Drill’. Looking round the net I see that loads of people have perfomed it but I would love to make the definitive ‘Drill’ video.

So here’s the pitch. I would love to hear from people who would be willing to submit a video of themselves performing the drill so we could collate them and make an everlasting tribute to MJ. If you are interested please either comment on this post or contact us. If we get enough interest then we will let all interested parties know what to do next.

L.O.V.E. to you all!

One year on…

Never can say goodbye

June 25th 2009 is a day that will fill me with sadness for the rest of my life. It’s odd. When I spoke to people today they’ve all been like ‘Wow! Has it been a year already’. I wish the last 365 days passed as quickly for me. Even today I’m still coming to terms that MJ is no longer with us. The one thing that has kept me going is his lasting legacy and that his fans are as strong as ever. Thank you to everyone who has been there for me. To my beautiful fiancé Jo and my fantastic daughter thanks for putting up with me. And to the really special members of my #mjfam @malbryc @sillajackson @amandabuttress @andyroser24 @roblives4love @ellen_82 @loveyoumoremj (and so many more) who have helped to make this that little bit easier lots of L.O.V.E.

As the years pass I know that we will always believe and we will never forget, because legends never die. L.O.V.E.

Rest in Peace Sweet Angel

When Michael was taken from us this time last year my heart was broken as never before. A part of me really did wither & die. After a tough year, getting tickets for several of the fated ‘This Is It’ concerts had turned my life around & brought joy & hope back into my life. When he died that renewed hope was extinguished. I wept for hours on end and initially felt alone in my grief. I travelled alone to the O2 on the 13th July last year to pay my respects – a sobering experience but a journey I am glad I made.

Thankfully, I was lucky enough to have seen Michael perform at several of the Wembley Dangerous & History Tour concerts but if anything that made the loss worse.

Through Twitter I have now connected with many true Michael fans around the world and their support & shared admiration of Michael has built the #MJfam a Twitter community/army defending his honour, continuing to celebrate Michaels life & the huge contribution he made affecting so many of us.
God Bless you Michael, Rest in Peace sweet Angel.

Do it for Michael

This Friday is going to be hard for all of us who love Michael. I know that everyone is going to mark the day in their own special way. I’m going to be wearing my MJ stuff to work on the 25th to show everyone that I will never forget and that legends never die. I will also be reporting as many tributes as I can find on the site over the next week and beyond.

If you are doing something and would like to share it with the fans please comment on this post or email me at paulums@gmail.com and I will get you online.

L.O.V.E. to you all on this difficult week.

Let’s start it up!
